So exams are done and I am happy about it. Got an A on a paper I totally rewrote the morning it was due. Going to pick up my printmaking portfolio as soon as Ryan goes to his second-last exam, and I'm very anxious about it. I don't even know if it'll have marks in it, though. When I get back I'm going to scan some of the prints I did this year and post them, along with pictures of the Book.
One of the things I wasn't expecting about being married was getting Christmas cards all of a sudden. I suppose I will have to start sending them out.
Ryan and I are getting back to Calgary on Saturday (Dec 17) at 3:20pm! So YAY for being HOME. Although not yay for coldness.
OK, so as some of you may know, Vancouver got snow at the very very end of November, on Saturday and Sunday the 25/26. It was a lot of snow, granted, but it made all of the power go out, at UBC, so I had a snow day from university. I spent it in the print media research centre though. And it resulted in a week-long extension for one final project. I had not had a snow day since grade five before that! So we're all sitting in the print hut, printmaking in the dark. It was on crack. Finally the power came back at about 3:30.
I got into Co-Op, so next semester is going to be full of applying for jobs. But it's nice because I won't be doing anything as plebeian (:P) as selling shoes any more, and I might even get to do web design, HUZZAH. There's an Amnesty International job posted, but I'd have to go to Toronto for 3.5 months in the summer, so luckily it's posted nationally and there are only two spots, because they expect us to apply for basically every job, unless it requires something you seriously cannot do (IE, I cannot apply for the border officer jobs that require you to drive).
OH, AND: CAROLING. Caroling is on December 17th, sometime in the evening, at my house [the house it is always at]. When I ask my meyther what time it is at, I will post. SO ALL CALGARY PEOPLE MUST ATTEND.
