Yeah, I'm so massively behind. I kind of want to stab myself in the eyeballs ... I have this niggling sore throat that isn't making itself a real sore throat and I got stuck walking about various times in the rain-snow today and when I got home I couldn't warm up ...
ANYWAY. That manifesto thing I was working on? Now I need to do art for it. I want to do a sort of mashup / mockups of environmentally charged ads. So if you have a favourite or most-hated environmental ad that's for a product (as I have much less of a hatred for environmental ads that are just about the environment), or simply morally-charged ads (ie, the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty), please let me know what it is!
I have an essay on Clement Greenberg due on Wednesday. I love how much of a loser the poor guy was as a kid. He lied to his family about getting on to the college swim team and about playing competitive baseball.
Anyway, I hope the rest of you are doing OK. I can't wait until December 5th -- I'm finished then, and I can do the 30 artworks I'll have to do to catch up with Project 365 and somehow be alive again.
Also, I'm back in Calgary on Dec 21 (but at night). My mom scheduled carolling for DEC 22, which is a saturday, so all cowtown people had better come. I will like invite all of you via facebook like a jerk :P.
